How To Setup Bluehost Email Settings?  

The Bluehost email settings include the POP, IMAP, and SMTP server settings. POP and IMAP are the incoming email server protocols. SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol and is used for sending emails from a Bluehost email account. If you wish to set up your Bluehost email account using the Bluehost webmail client, follow the below-mentioned steps.

  • On your computer, open the default browser and go to the Bluehost Sign-In page.
  • Enter your email address and password in the required fields to access your Bluehost email settings.
  • Click the Hosting tab at the top-left corner of the window.
  • Select the Email submenu and click the Email accounts tab from the left-side panel.
  • Select your email account and click the drop-down button in the Webmail client section.
  • Choose any one of the Bluehost webmail clients (Roundcube, Horde, or SquirrelMail).
  • Enter your email address, password, and other necessary server settings to configure your Bluehost email account.

Carry out these steps to set up your Bluehost email account in Outlook 2016: 

  • On your Windows computer, launch the Outlook email client for Bluehost email settings.
  • Click the File tab and select Info.
  • Under Account Information, click the Add Account button.
  • Click the 'Manually configure server settings or additional server types' radio button and select Next.
  • Click the Internet Email radio button and select Next.
  • Under User Information, enter your Bluehost email address and your name.
  • Under Server Information, click the Account Type drop-down menu and choose either POP or IMAP as your account type.
  • Enter the incoming mail server name (for example, mail.example.com) in the Incoming mail server field. Note: In the server name, replace example with your domain name.
  • Enter the outgoing mail server name in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field.
  • Enter your email address and password in the Logon Information section.
  • Click the More Settings button and go to the Outgoing Server tab.
  • Enable the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox. 
  • Enable the Use same settings as my incoming mail server radio button.
  • Click the Advanced tab and enter the server port numbers in the Incoming server and Outgoing server (SMTP) fields.
  • Select SSL as the encryption type and click the OK button.
  • Select Test Account Settings to verify the configured server settings.
  • Once the verification is completed, click Next and then Finish.
  • Now, the Bluehost email settings has been made successfully in Outlook.
