How to Change Email Signature in Outlook

Proceed with the steps given below to change your added email signature on Outlook.

How to Change Email Signature in Outlook

On web interface:

  • Launch your browser and go to the official Outlook website. Then, log in using the Outlook account credentials.
  • Open your Microsoft Outlook 2007 or 2010, go to the File menu and select the Options tab on the left panel.
  • When the Outlook Options window appears, select the Mail option from the list. Then, navigate to the Signatures tab.
  • Go to the E-mail Signature section to change the existing signature.
  • To edit the current signature, select the existing signature and edit the contents in the edit signature section. 
  • Click on the New tab to create a new signature.
  • Type a name in the new signature box. Then, click OK.
  • In the Choose default signature section, enter the email account to which you want to add your new signature.
  • Select the signature and other preferences. Then, click on the OK button.

    On Outlook application:

  • Open the Outlook app and log in to your account using the account credentials.
  • Click the Settings icon on the top-right corner.
  • Select the Options tab on the left panel of the screen.
  • Navigate to the Mail section and select Layout.
  • On Outlook 2019 version, launch Outlook and go to File --> Options --> Mail. 
  • Select the Mail tab and click Signatures under Compose messages.
  • Go to the Email signature window and add a new signature.
  • Type your signature in the text box. Choose your font, size, and other options.
  • Checkmark the “Automatically include my signature on messages I send” option.
  • Click on the Save icon on the top, and your existing email signature will be added to all the email messages you create.
  • You can also add your email signature manually if you don’t want to add your signature automatically.
  • Click on the Insert button on the top of the compose email screen. Then, select your signature to add it to the email message.
