POP3

  • Step 1:Account type: POP3

SMTP

  • Step 1:Launch the Outlook application.
  • Step 2:Go to the File menu followed by the Info sub-menu.
  • Step 3:Select the Add Account option.
  • Step 4:In the given field, type your BT email account’s username and click Next. 
  • Step 5:Now, select the Manual method to configure your BT Internet email account.
  • Step 6:Click on the POP/IMAP option.
  • Step 7:In the opened window, type your account’s incoming and outgoing server details.
  • Step 8:Click on the More Settings options button.
  • Step 9:Go to the Outgoing Server tab.
  • Step 10:Enable the necessary authentications.
  • Step 11:In the Advanced tab, type the port numbers of the servers correctly.
  • Step 12:Click Apply > OK > Test Account Settings.

For Android Mail

  • Step 1:Initially, make sure that your Android phone is connected to the Internet.
  • Step 2:Now, open the Settings app on your phone.

  • Step 4:In the opened window, type your BT email address followed by its password.
  • Step 5:Tap the Next button.

  • Step 1:On the Settings screen of your iOS device, tap on the Mail option.

  • Step 4:In the given fields, type your BT internet email account’s address, password, and a description.
