How To Configure Zoho Mail IMAP Settings?

Incoming Server settings

Personal Emails (email address: username@zoho.com)

  • Incoming Server name: imap.zoho.in
  • Port: 993
  • Require SSL: Yes
  • Username: username@zoho.com

Organization Emails (domain-based email address: you@yourdomain.com)

  • Incoming Server name: imappro.zoho.in
  • Port: 993
  • Requires SSL: Yes
  • Username: you@yourdomain.com

Outgoing Server settings

Personal Email

  • Outgoing Server name: smtp.zoho.in
  • Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
  • Authentication: Yes, required

Organization Email

  • Outgoing server name: smtppro.zoho.in
  • Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
  • Authentication: Yes, required

Username: Your Zoho Mail account’s username or email address.

Enable the IMAP access for your email account on Zoho Mail to begin the configuration of Zoho mail IMAP settings. To enable IMAP access, follow the below mentioned instructions.

  • Sign in to your Zoho Mail account.
  • Click Settings > Mail Accounts > Configure. Navigate to the IMAP section.
  • Select the IMAP Access option.
  • Set up the Auto-expunge mails and folder settings as per your desire.

Steps To Configure Zoho Mail Using the IMAP Settings On Android

  • Open Settings.
  • Go to the Apps section.
  • Select the Mail option followed by Add Account.
  • On the Add New Account screen, type your Zoho mail account’s email address and password. 
  • Tap on the MANUAL SETUP button followed by IMAP account.
  • Now, on the SERVER SETTINGS screen, enter your Zoho mail account’s incoming and outgoing server details in the corresponding fields. 
  • After entering the details in the corresponding fields, tap the SIGN IN button.
  • If your account is configured correctly, you’ll see the Mails screen.
  • Otherwise, reconfigure your account for Zoho mail IMAP settings.

Steps To Configure Zoho Mail Using IMAP Settings On iPhone

  • Make sure to enable the IMAP access on your email account before beginning the configuration.
  • Now, open Settings on your iPhone.
  • Tap Mail.
  • Select Add Account > Other > IMAP.
  • In the dialog box titled New Account, type your name, Zoho Mail account’s email address, and password in the corresponding fields.
  • After entering all the details, tap Next.
  • Now, a screen prompting to enter the account’s IMAP and SMTP server settings will open.
  • Enter your Zoho Mail account details in the corresponding fields and tap Done.
  • Once the configuration is completed, try to send or receive a test mail to check whether the account is configured correctly.

Steps To Configure Zoho Mail Using IMAP Settings In Outlook 2013

  • Launch Outlook 2013.
  • Go to the File menu.
  • Select the Add Account option followed by Manual Setup.
  • Choose the POP or IMAP option in the Choose Service window.
  • On the Add Account screen, enter your Zoho mail account details in the corresponding fields.
  • After entering the details, click the More Settings button.
  • Go to the Advanced tab.
  • Type the port numbers for the incoming and outgoing servers.
  • Click the Outgoing server tab.
  • Select the first two options.
  • Click OK > OK > Finish.
