Step 1: Resetting Winsock and TCP/IP

  • Press the Windows and R buttons together to open the Run dialog box.
  • Enter “cmd” in the Search section and click on the OK button.
  • Type “netsh winsock reset catalog” in the Command Prompt window and tap the Enter key.
  • When a message prompting you to restart your computer appears, ignore it.
  • Type “netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log” and press Enter.

 Step 2: Renew IP configuration settings

  • Open the Command Prompt window as an administrator.
  • Enter the following commands and tap Enter after each command.
  • ipconfig /release
  • ipconfig /renew
  • Restart your computer and check if you can access the internet.

Step 3: Disable IP Helper Service

  • Launch the Run dialog box and enter “services.msc.” Then, click OK.
  • Select the IP Helper Service and right-click on it to select Properties.
  • Navigate to the General tab and choose the Startup type as Disabled from the drop-down list.
  • Click on the Stop button under Service status. Then, click Apply.
  • Step 4: Disable IPv6

    • Go to the Start menu and click the Settings icon.
    • Select Network & Internet and select the Connection type on the left panel.
    • Click the Change adapter options link on the right panel.
    • Now, right-click on your connection and select Properties.
    • Checkmark the Internet Protocol Version 6 option and click OK.
    • If you have connected wirelessly, switch to an Ethernet connection.
    • Open a webpage and verify whether you can surf the internet.

    Step 5: Disable your Antivirus software

    • Sometimes, the Antivirus software installed on your computer may block your network.
    • Temporarily disable the installed Antivirus to resolve the issue IPV6 connectivity no network access.
