Issue: Comcast Email is Not Working

Comcast Mail is one of the free email services. You can manage your Comcast email account through multiple platforms. If your Comcast email is not working appropriately, follow the troubleshooting steps given below.

Case 1: Failed to sign-in to your Comcast account

  • First, verify that you have a standard Internet connection on your computer or mobile phone.
  • Make sure to enter the correct login credentials in the required fields on the account sign-in page.
  • Check whether Caps Lock has been turned on. If so, tap the Caps Lock key on your keyboard to turn it off and then try entering your account’s password.
  • If the problem persists, recover your account password to access your email account.

Case 2: Failed to send or receive email messages

  • If you have configured your Comcast email in Outlook, launch the Outlook app on your Mac.
  • Click the Tools menu and select Accounts from the drop-down list.
  • Choose your Comcast email account from the left-side panel and click the minus symbol to remove it from your Mac.
  • If prompted, click the Delete button to confirm.
  • Restart Outlook and click the Tools menu again.
  • Select the Accounts option from the drop-down list and click the Add icon at the bottom-left corner.
  • Click the New Account button and enter your Comcast email address in the Email field.
  • Under IMAP/POP, enter the correct server settings and click the Add Account button.
  • Once you have added your Comcast account, again in the Outlook app, check if the problem has been resolved.
  • If you have configured the Comcast account on your iPhone, go to Settings and tap the Mail, Contacts, Calendars button.
  • Choose your email account, tap the Delete Account button to remove your Comcast account from your iPhone.
  • Next, restart your iPhone and relaunch the Settings app.
  • Tap the Mail, Contacts, Calendars button and choose Add Account.
  • Select the Microsoft Exchange logo from the displayed list of email service providers.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts and add your Comcast email account again to your iPhone.
