Issue 1: Unable to sign in

  • Step 1:Solution 1: Try signing into your account again If you’re encountering this issue for the first time, then try to sign in to your AOL Mail account again after a while with the correct credentials.
  • Step 2:Solution 2: Reset web settings Reset the general web settings of your computer if the above solution fails to resolve the issue. When you use multiple browsers on a computer, there is a chance for the web settings to get changed.
  • Step 3:Solution 3: Reset your account password Check whether the following error message is displayed on the screen “Invalid password. Please try again.” If yes, you’re entering either the wrong or invalid password. To clear this error message, reset your password using the account recovery option.
  • Step 4:Solution 4: Try another browser If your browser is outdated or you’re using an older browser like Internet Explorer, then try signing in to your account from a different browser.   • Step 1:Solution 1: Check the filter If you’re unable to receive emails, then check your account’s filter settings first. The filter settings might have passed your emails to the trash folder or a different folder instead of sending it to the Inbox folder.
  • Step 2:Solution 2: Ask the sender to resend the email Generally, the emails get delivered within a few seconds or minutes. If it takes too long to deliver, then it may be due to problems on the mail server, routing problems, or heavy internet traffic. It is better to wait for some minutes for the issue to resolve.   • Step 3:Solution 3: Look for the missing email in the Spam folder There is also a chance for your email to be sent to the Spam folder. To check it, sign in to your AOL mail account first. Go to the Spam folder. Look for the missing email and open it. If it is marked as spam, then click the Not Spam option to move it to the Inbox folder.

    Solution 4: Disable firewall and the security software
