METHOD 1: CHECK IF GMAIL IS SUPPORTED

Make sure you use reputed browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Internet Explorer.

If you are using one of the above-mentioned browsers, make sure you have the browser updated.

 

Google Chrome:

  • Open the Google Chrome browser.
  • Click the menu option on the top right corner of the browser.
  • Scroll down the list and click the More option.
  • Click the Update Google Chrome button.
  • If an update is available, then the browser will be updated.
  • Close the browser and open it again now, check the Gmail Pdf download not working

Internet Explorer:

  • Open the Internet Explorer browser.
  • Click Settings and select the About Internet Explorer option.
  • Click the checkbox beside Install New Versions Automatically.
  • Click the Close button. 

Mozilla Firefox:

  • Open the Mozilla Firefox browser.
  • Click the menu icon on the browser.
  • Click the Help button and select the option About Firefox.
  • The Firefox browser will now check for the update and download it automatically.
  • Once the download is complete, restart the browser.

METHOD 2: CLEAR COOKIES AND CACHE

The Gmail Pdf download not working issue can also occur due to the saved cookies and cache on your browser. Make sure to delete in order to fix the download error. 

Google Chrome:

  • Open the Chrome browser and click on the menu icon located next to the address bar.
  • Select tools and select the Clear browsing data option.
  • Now, click the checkbox beside the following options:
  • Clear browsing history 
  • Clear download history 
  • Empty the cache 
  • Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data.
  • Click Clear browsing data to confirm the action. 

Internet Explorer:

  • Open the Internet Explorer browser and click the Tools option on the right side of the window.
  • Click Internet Options and choose the General tab.
  • Locate the Browsing History section from the General tab and click the Delete button.
  • Click Cookies and Temporary internet files option from the list and click Delete.
  • Select Apply and click OK to close the window. 

Mozilla Firefox:

  • Open the Firefox browser and click the Options menu.
  • Select the Advanced option and click the Network tab.
  • In the Offline Storage section, you will see the offline storage section that shows the space used by the cache. Now, click the Clear Now button.
  • Again download the file and check the Gmail Pdf download not working issue.
