How To Fix Iphone Xs Overheating Issue?

Many iPhone users have felt that their device is getting overheated from time to time. It is quite normal for a device to get heated. Solutions:

a) Physical Temperature

  • If your iPhone Xs overheating due to the temperature of your location, then use it in a cooler environment.

b) Software issues

  • To solve the software issues, try some quick methods suggested below.

Close all background apps:

  • Open the app switcher on your iPhone.
  • The applications that are running will be listed on the screen.
  • Close all the applications one-by-one.
  • Wait for some time and check your iPhone’s temperature.
  • If it remains hot, then perform the next troubleshooting method discussed below.

Check and update all apps:

  • Out-dated applications may also lead to this issue.
  • To check and update the applications installed on your iPhone, follow the instructions given below.
  • Open the App Store.
  • Tap the Updates tab.
  • Now, the applications to be updated will be listed under the Pending section.
  • Update all apps and check if the issue iPhone Xs overheating is resolved.

Delete crashing apps:

  • Some bad applications might keep crashing and as a result, your iPhone may get overheated.
  • To uninstall the bad apps from your iPhone, select the app and long press on it.
  • As you keep pressing the app for a while, a small X symbol will appear.
