  • Step 1:Initially, log into your Facebook account using your email address and password. The homepage will load.
  • Step 2:Once you are logged in, locate and tap the hamburger icon, the three stacked horizontal lines in the lower right side, to open a list of Menu options on the Facebook page.
  • Step 3:Swipe down and look for the Settings & Privacy option, then tap it to reveal a sub-menu. Now, select Settings.
  • Step 4:Move to the Account Settings section and tap Personal Information to choose the Email address option.
  • Step 5:Your email address will be listed. Tap on the email address you'd prefer to remove and then tap the Remove option.
  • Step 6:You'll be prompted to re-enter your current Facebook password to confirm the changes. Type your current password, then tap Remove Email to confirm it.

  • Step 4:Under Notification Settings, select the Email and choose Edit to do changes in receiving notification.
  • Step 5:Choose the option Only Notifications about your account, security, and privacy.
  • Step 6:From now on, you might not get any notification other than the one you have requested.
