  • Open the Outlook application on your computer.
  • If you are using Outlook 2007, click File > New > Search Folder.
  • If you are using Outlook 2010/13/16, click Folder > New Search Folder.
  • Once the selection is made, the New Search Folder pop-up will open.
  • Under Select a Search Folder, navigate to the Organizing Mail section and click Old Mail.
  • Under Customize Search Folder, click the Show Mail drop-down list.
  • Now, click Choose
  • Select a number from the Show mail older than drop-down list. This is where you have to select a period of your liking; for example, click Month(s).
  • Click the OK button.
  • On the navigation pane, you will see a folder named Older Than One Month.
