You can send an email to your recipients by hiding their email addresses in the Outlook application. Why do we create undisclosed-recipients?

By creating a contact as an undisclosed recipient, you can protect the privacy of everyone. An email message created by you makes a professional look.

  • Step 1:Launch the Outlook application, and then you can go to the Home tab.
  • Step 2:Navigate to the Address book. A pop-up window appears. In that window, select the File menu and then choose New Entry.
  • Step 3:Now, select New Contact in the New Entry dialog box and click OK.
  • Step 4:Enter Undisclosed Recipients in the Full name text box and also type your email address in the Email text box. You can now save and close the Address book window.

Now, start sending an email to the undisclosed recipient you have created.

Sending an email to an Undisclosed Recipient:

  • Step 1:In the Outlook application, create an email message.
  • Step 2:You can type Undisclosed recipients in the To field. A list of contacts will be displayed. Choose the contact you prefer and then select Bcc. This Blind Carbon Copy allows you to hide the recipients in an email message.
  • Step 3:Enter the email address. Later, click OK.
  • Step 4:Finally, click Send. An email message is sent to the recipient. In the recipient’s To field, the Undisclosed Recipient will be displayed.
