By default, the size limit for sending emails with attachments in Microsoft Outlook is 25MB. If your email server allows you to send larger attachments, you can instruct the Outlook app to send messages larger than 25MB. Method 1: Save your files to a cloud service and share a link via Outlook

Today, there are several cloud services that allow you to upload and then share large files. Below are some cloud storage services you can use to share large files.

  • Step 1:OneDrive

  • Step 4:Google Drive
  • Step 5:To begin with, upload your file to a cloud service.
  • Step 6:After completing the upload, copy the link that is generated by the cloud service.
  • Step 7:Open the Outlook app and compose an email.
  • Step 8:Paste the copied link to the email and send it to your recipient.

Method 2: Compress and share the file

  • Step 1:On your computer, open File Explorer and choose the files you are going to send via email.
  • Step 2:Give a right-click on each file and select Send to –> Compressed (zipped) folder. Doing so will reduce the size of the files.
  • Step 3:Once you have created the zip files, open the Outlook app and compose an email.
  • Step 4:Attach the zip files to the email and send it to your recipient’s email address.

Method 3: Reduce the size of an image

  • Step 1:Launch Outlook and compose an email.

  • Step 4:Select the Info option from the left-side panel and go to the Image Attachments section.
  • Step 5:Select the Resize large images when I send this message option.
  • Step 6:Return to the email message and click the Send button.
