Re-add your AOL account:

If AOL mail is not syncing, then the configuration file might be corrupted. In such a case, you have to remove the mail account and add it again.

  • Step 1:Go to the Mail or Calendar app and then click Settings.
  • Step 2:Go to Manage Accounts and then select your AOL account to delete.
  • Step 3:Select the Delete account option.
  • Step 4:Try adding back the account to sync it.

Check the AOL Server Settings:

Open the Mail app on your computer and go to Settings followed by Manage Accounts. Now, select your AOL account and click Mail settings. Make sure that the server settings are correctly configured. The AOL mail server settings are to solve AOL mail not syncing issue.

  • Step 2:Incoming Mail Server: imp.aol.com
  • Step 3:SMTP Outgoing Server Address: smtp.aol.com

  • Step 6:SMTP Password: The password used to log in to the Mail app.

Turn On Privacy Settings:

  • Step 1:Go to Settings > Privacy > Calendar and then turn on Let apps access my calendar.
  • Step 2:Now, change the sync duration.
  • Step 3:Go to Settings > Account Settings. Now select the AOL account.
  • Step 4:A dialog box appears on the screen. Click on AOL sync settings and then personalize the sync duration.

Disable The Antivirus Program:

  • Step 1:Ensure that your system’s antivirus is not blocking access to the app.
  • Step 2:Set your Network Type to Trusted in the Antivirus settings.
  • Step 3:Run the Windows troubleshooter, which easily fixes the problem.
  • Step 4:By disabling the proxy settings, you can fix the synchronization issues.
