Method 1 - Disable Synchronization log via Outlook settings

Step 1

Launch the Microsoft Outlook 2013 email client.

Step 2

  • Step 1:Click the File tab.
  • Step 2:Navigate to the Account Settings drop-down menu.
  • Step 3:Choose the Account Settings option.

Step 3

  • Step 1:Select your Exchange email account for which you want to disable the synchronization log emails.
  • Step 2:Click the Change button.

Step 4

  • Step 1:When the Change Account window opens, navigate to the Offline Settings section.
  • Step 2:Remove the checkmark next to the Use Cached Exchange Mode option.
  • Step 3:This will prevent the Outlook 2013 email client from synchronizing the data and instead stores it in the offline data file.

Step 5

  • Step 1:Click the Next button followed by the Finish button.
  • Step 2:Exit the Account Settings window.
  • Step 3:Relaunch the Microsoft Outlook 2013 email client.

Method 2 - Disable synchronization log emails via Registry

Step 1

  • Step 1:On your Windows computer’s keyboard, press the Win and R keys at the same time.
  • Step 2:This will launch the Run box on the screen.

Step 2

  • Step 1:Type the regedit command in the Open field.
  • Step 2When the Registry Editor window opens, go to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Options\Mail location.
  • Step 3Search for EnableLogging and double-click it.
  • Step 4Note: If EnableLogging is not in the list, right-click the Mail folder and click the New option followed by the DWORD (32-bit value) option.
  • Step 5Click the OK button or press the Enter key on the keyboard.

Step 3

  • Step 1:When the Registry Editor window opens, go to the KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Options\Mail location.
  • Step 2:Search for EnableLogging and double-click it.
  • Step 3:Note: If EnableLogging is not in the list, right-click the Mail folder and click the New option followed by the DWORD (32-bit value) option.

  • Step 1:Set the value to 0.
