Issue: Imap Server Not Responding Outlook

Resolve the imap server not responding issue in Outlook by performing the simple troubleshooting instructions given below.When you try to configure your email account in an email client, it is common for an error to occur. Uninstalling The Outlook Application

  • Step 1:Locate the Outlook app on your iPhone.
  • Step 2:Hold down the app icon.
  • Step 3:Make sure to release the app icon only when it jiggles.
  • Step 4:Now, you could find an X symbol at the top of the icon.
  • Step 5:Tap on the X symbol.
  • Step 6:Now, a pop-up dialog box with the message “Deleting this app will delete its data” will appear on the screen.
  • Step 7:Tap on the Delete button.
  • Step 8:To delete the configuration profile of the Outlook application, open the Settings screen on your iPhone.
  • Step 9:Select General > Profiles & Device Management or Profile > Outlook App’s configuration profile > Delete Profile. If prompted, enter your iPhone’s security password in the given field and tap Delete. Once the app is uninstalled, restart your iPhone.

Reinstalling The App And Adding The Account

  • Step 1:From the App Store, download and install the Outlook application on your iPhone.
  • Step 2:After installing the app, open it.
  • Step 3:Go to the Outlook application’s Settings section.
  • Step 4:Tap Add Account > Add Email Account.
  • Step 5:In the given fields, enter your email address and tap the Add Account button.
  • Step 6:Similarly, type your account’s password in the given field and tap Sign in.
  • Step 7:Perform the on-screen instructions to re-add your account.
  • Step 8:After successfully adding your account, try to send a test mail.
