Solved: Outlook Email Not Syncing With iPhone  

Outlook.com is one of the free web-based email services that can be added to your iPhone or Android smartphones. If your Outlook email is not syncing with your iPhone, try these troubleshooting steps to fix the Outlook email not syncing with iPhone issues.

  • On your iPhone, touch the Settings icon on the applications screen to launch the Settings app.
  • Tap the Passwords & Accounts tab in the Settings window and select your Outlook email account.
  • Navigate to the Advanced section and check whether you have specified the correct server settings.
  • Make sure to check if Contacts, Mail, and Calendar option are allowed for your Outlook email account.
  • If these settings are not enabled, toggle on the Mail, Contacts, and Calendar buttons.
  • Next, verify that you have entered the correct server ports if you have selected the SSL encryption type.
  • Return to the Settings page and tap the Passwords & Accounts tab.
  • Choose your Outlook email account from the displayed list and tap the Reset Account button.
  • Check if your email account is syncing.
  • If the problem persists, choose your Outlook email on the Accounts page and tap the Delete Account button.
  • Once your email account is removed, restart your iPhone.
  • Go to Settings and tap the Passwords & Accounts tab.
  • Tap the Add Account button and choose Outlook from the displayed list of email service providers.
  • Input a name for your email account and fill in the Email Address and Password fields with your Outlook email address and password.
  • If necessary, enter the description from your email account and tap Next.
  • Wait until the mail server verifies your email account.
  • If you wish to add a POP or IMAP account on your iPhone, tap the Other option from the email service providers list.
  • Input your email address and password in the required fields and input the Incoming and Outgoing mail server settings.
  • After entering the necessary server settings, tap Next > Save.
